I’m checking out damnlayoffthebleach and I have to say that I do not really understand where they stand.
One post has them saying how changing a poc to another poc is wrong and people are racists for it and should burn in hell or whatever.
Yet they love images such as a greek wonder woman turned black.
Isn’t this a little stupid?
If you can make a greek character black, then why can’t I turn a black character greek?
Just as this images where people changes everyone’s race in, for example, korra. Korra is now white and Bolin and Mako have her skin. This blog gets mad at Korra’s change but absolutely adore the new Bolin and Mako.
And I understand the lack of dark or coloured character in media but this is taking it to far, you are not preaching this with love, you are using hate and that is disgusting
I am against white washing, or making a fanart where you see Korra as this white princess, because she is obviously inuit and is built as fuck. But when someone changes a character’s race, they love it when they are turned darker than they originally were, but hate it when it is otherwise
