BRHood: Depends on how it’s done. I think it really depends on what is taken, why it was taken, etc. It also can be problematic because creating fantasy cultures based on real world cultures can minimize the actual experience of said cultures in the real world. If you feel you must do it, I say consulting with people from said culture that it’s inspired by, maybe even letting them write certain parts.
