I think they could have used a darker skinned actress to depict Pocohontas, not as erasure of Jessica Biel's heritage, but to coincide more with the canonical skin color. There's a bit of a disconnect between Jessica and Pocahontas, and I didn't realize Biel was supposed to be her at all. I do think it's great they did pick someone of Native American descent, however. This one's a tough one.
