re: Whitewash art class submission Please let your submitter know that there IS something that can be done. Your submitter needs to educate ALL of the children in the classroom - find artists of color (even if they have to leave their city to do so!). Invite them in to show the children representations of self - dark brown, black, brown faces. Let these artists of color TALK about their art and their beauty. I'm glad that your submitter gave their story. But it mustn't end there.
