not everyone that comes from cuba has dark olive skin tone. i'm cuban, and i happen to be awfully fair. sure, it's more of a pale olive than a rosy peach, but if that character happened to have blond hair and blue eyes it wouldn't necessarily wrong. I know plenty of light eyed/light haired cubans & a lot of cubans originated from spain. not that it matters, i'd rather an olive Cuba than not, but just to explain.
