What do you think of people doing cosplays/costumes of characters of a different race if they do not try and alter their skin color? Like wear the clothes/accessories in an homage type of costume? But nothing as historically problematic and offensive as black/brown face. Or do, for instance, white individuals have no ability to dress up as a PoC character? Love your blog and thanks for considering my question because I really am trying not to overstep my bounds.

I don’t understand why people can’t just get the outfit/wig right and be done. >_< I mean, really. The fact that you have less melanin than the character is going to render you completely unrecognisable?
